Where are you currently working and for how long?
Mr Ranchod has been working at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa since the 11 May 2015.
How did your studies prepare you for the workplace?
Excellently. To put it simply, I feel that I was very well prepared with HR knowledge/expertise and labour law. Emphasis on presentations at varsity has especially prepared me for the workplace.
What was the most valuable thing you learnt while studying?
The increase of one’s knowledge results in the increase in one’s responsibility. I learnt this from Ms. Dube in first year.
Do you have any advice for current students?
Get involved while at university; do everything you can to build your CV; and most importantly, in my opinion, do what you love and are passionate about.
